How To Prosper In A Pandemic

How To Prosper In A Pandemic

During this covid-19 pandemic, consider the trees of Psalm 1:3. Those trees represent power, majesty and stability. Have you ever noticed the difference between a tree planted by the water and a tree far away from water? The tree next to the water is much more healthy and vibrant. Its fruit and blossoms are the most beautiful.

In the same way, when you are “planted” in the Word of God, your spirit is fed, and you grow strong just like the tree by the water. You’ll bring forth fruit in the proper season. In other words, you’ll be in the right place at the right time. You’ll be productive and fruitful. And notice, the end of today’s verse says that whatever you do will prosper!

Today, do you want to prosper in your relationships? Seek God’s Word regarding relationships. Do you want to prosper in your health? Seek God’s Word about healing. Do you want to prosper in your finances? Seek God’s Word regarding finances. Make sure your heart and mind are planted in the Word of God. Let Him illuminate your heart with truth. Let Him water you with His promises. Seek Him, trust Him and obey Him, and everything you do will prosper like a tree planted by water!

“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:3, NKJV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I love You so much. Thank You for Your Word which is truth and water to my soul. Father, I want to be rooted and planted close to You during this pandemic, and always, so that Your water of life can make me grow and prosper. God, search me, know me and guide me in the way that I should go, as I am planted and rooted in Your Word, in Jesus' Name! Amen.

The All-Sufficient One

The All-Sufficient One

Everyone is looking for peace and increase. Do you need more peace, joy, and provision in your life? We serve a God who is more than enough, and He has more than enough!

The Hebrew word in today’s verse is El-Shaddai, which means “the All-Sufficient One” or the God of plenty. In other words, our God is more! He’s not worried about how He’s going to meet your needs. He’s not wondering how He’s going to provide for you; He’s already overflowing with everything you need in this life, and He longs to bless you. Do you know why? He wants to bless you abundantly so that you can turn around and be a blessing to other people. He wants you to be His reflection in the earth.

Today, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Remember, you serve the Almighty God. He promises to supply all your needs because He is El-Shaddai, the God of more than enough!

...the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, ‘I am Almighty God...” (Genesis 17:1, NKJV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I believe that You are the All-Sufficient One. Father, today I receive Your Word, and choose to have an attitude of faith and expectancy. God, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness to me. In Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Most Blessed

Most Blessed

All God’s people are blessed! But in order to partake of everything He has in store for us, we have to be open to what He wants to do in our lives. We have to have a vision for increase, and a heart to obey Him.

Maybe you’re not expecting favour, maybe you’re just satisfied where you are, then you are living below your privileges. But, if you will get a vision for increase, a vision of who you are as a child of the Most High God, then opportunities, favour and increase will open up before you. Just like this Scripture says, “as a child of the Most High, you are entitled to be the most blessed!”

Today, I encourage you to take time to focus your thoughts on God and His promises. Meditate on His Word and ask Him to increase your capacity to receive. Then, follow His commands and look for His goodness, and get ready to be the most blessed!

“Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; but happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God].” (Proverbs 29:18, AMP)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I choose right now to focus on You. Father, I choose to look for what You want to do in and through me. God, I let go of any wrong thinking, attitudes or actions that would hold me back. I choose to obey You, and thank You for Your blessings in my life, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

A New Season

A New Season

I want to encourage you today that even when we can’t see it, God is working behind the scenes. He is doing a new thing. He is making a way for you even when there seems to be no way. He wants to lead you out of that dry, desolate place, into a place of peace, safety and abundance. He wants to take you from a season of drought into a season of abundance.

Today, trust God and switch over from an attitude of fear and doubt to an attitude of faith. How do you change your attitude? Start by changing what comes out of your mouth. Instead of speaking about your situation, speak to your situation. Every day declare, “this is the day that the Lord has made. He is taking me into seasons of increase. I’m moving forward with strength through the joy of the Lord!” When you start speaking like that, soon your mind and heart will grab hold of the truth, and it won’t be long before you’re walking in the increase God has prepared for you!

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19, NIV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I receive new seasons of increase into my life by faith today. Father, I choose to stand and declare Your promises, because I know You have good things in store for my future. God, I bless You and thank You for another day to sing Your praise, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

A Greater Love
A few days ago I was watching a programme on Memorial Day. A time where all those who have given their lives in service for their country are honoured. As I sat there remembering what these brave men and women did, I wanted to honour them for what they had done in showing a greater love to others.

It made me think of what Jesus did for us. I’m so thankful that Jesus loved us enough to lay down His life so that we could spend eternity with Him. He was the ultimate expression of love. Did you know that there are ways you can lay down your life to express your love to others? When you let go of having your own way, or when you put the needs and desires of others above your own desires, that’s a form of laying down your life.

Today, choose to follow Christ’s example by putting others first, because love is all that matters in eternity.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13, NIV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for another day to praise You. Father, thank You for being the ultimate example of love. God, help me follow Your example and lay down my life for others. Let everything I do bring honour to You, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

We Are Imitators

We Are Imitators

Last week I spent time with my grandson. In the car he was imitating my driving. Have you ever spent time with a small child or baby and had them mimic your every sound or action? To them it’s a fun game, but internally, they are learning by watching and copying everything you do. They just observe and do the same thing. That’s because we are all wired to be imitators.

Adults are just like little children, they all imitate in some way. People end up imitating what they see in the world, on TV, in the news and magazines. But scripture tells us that we are to be imitators of God, and follow His example of love.

Today, if you need to make a change in your life, change what or who you are imitating. Change your focus. The more you focus on the Word, the more you will imitate God. When you do things God’s way, you will get God’s results—peace, joy and blessings all the days of your life!

“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” (Ephesians 5:1–2, ESV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I choose to put You first in my life and imitate You. Father, I set aside the things of the world, and invite You to search my heart and mind. God, give me Your heart of love, and let me be an example of Your goodness, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
