Washed and Sanctified

Just posted DAY 15 of our 30 days of prayer. Remember we pray 7am 1pm 7pm. keep us in prayer
as we anoint tonight.

Washed and Sanctified

"…But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God"
(1 Corinthians 6:11, NIV)

Do you know how valuable you are to God today? Not only did He pay a precious price in order to have a relationship with you; He cleansed you, set you apart, and made you brand new.
Think of it this way, if you saved your money and purchased a very rare and valuable piece of jewelry, you wouldn't just leave it around the house or office. You probably wouldn't wear it to the gym or to work in the yard. You wouldn't let your children play with it. No, you would set it apart and protect it. You would polish it, keep it clean and show it off on special occasions. You would handle it carefully because it's valuable.
Friend, understand today that you are valuable to Almighty God. He handles you carefully. As a follower of Jesus, He has set you apart for a specific purpose. He is proud of you. You are His most prized treasure. Let that sink down into your heart today. Meditate on His goodness as you realize your worth in Him!

Father, thank You for loving me. Thank You for choosing me and setting me apart for Your glory. I receive Your love today and invite You to have Your way in every area of my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

DAY 15, Prayer of confession and revival

Heavenly Father, I confess with shame my selfishness. I rarely approach You without a selfish petition on my heart. Deep down I know that all I need is Jesus but somehow I fear the lost of relationships and even things. I want to be like Job but I do not want to be tested like Job. I do praise You Father for Your infinite goodness and your boundless mercy.
I have no doubt that You are holy. I have deep respect for Your word. Your word is truth; Your word is powerful and it does not return without accomplishing its mission. I do fear You. I know that the power of life and death are in Your hand. You are the ultimate decision maker. We rule but You overrule. We can’t change Your plans but You can change ours. LORD, our strength is in YOU, not in numbers, titles, or achievements. We have become too concerned about our reputations which may be one of the reasons we are in a “Spiritual Famine”. One thing is certain, we cannot trust the devil, the world nor our flesh. Father I know that Your eye is on me and that Your mercy and grace have sustained me. I covet the anointing of Your Spirit. It is You who has kept us alive through the famine but we are growing hungry. We desperately need Revival. Give us revival or we perish in more ways than one. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1john 1:9
