Bring it on Jesus

Over the past 2 years we have over 100 children with cancer with toys for Christmas, and over 300 homeless persons with a holiday package of hats, scarfs, gloves, socks and hygiene items. On sunday the 23rd we will be donating our gift. I need about 5 churches,youth dept, personal ministries etc or just individuals to partner with me so we can make a kid or someone who is homeless smile this holiday. Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea. JOHN 21:1

You've been trying, trying and trying but it's useless. It worked yesterday, but that was yesterday. We all know what that feels like, right? Well in today's story we meet the disciples having one of those days. Looking out at them faffing around in their little boat, Jesus shouts from the shore, '..."Cast the net on the right side of the boat..."' (John 21:6 NKJV). When they did, they caught so many fish their net broke. Lesson 1) Often, God gives the breakthrough right at the end of your struggle. As long as you think you can do it on your own, He'll let you try. But when you run out of natural energy you discover it's 'Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord...' (Zechariah 4:6). Lesson 2) He never takes His eye off you. The mists of early dawn meant they couldn't see Him, but He could see them. In spite of your disappointment and the frustration of your own efforts, you're never beyond His care - or His reach. Lesson 3) He invites you to come and eat. Jesus already had a cooked breakfast waiting for the tired fishermen and invited them to join him. He knew there's nothing more 'spiritual' that a proper brekkie! It's the human life at its most basic; and most fantastic: beach, fire, mates, chilling, laughing, bring it on Jesus! Father, today I declare that I trust You. I trust Your faithfulness. I trust Your goodness. I know that You are working things out in my favor and in Your timing. I declare that through faith and patience I will inherit every promise You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
